Helen Gollins gives evidence to Parliament

Helen Gollins, GMPHN Chair and DPH for Trafford, alongside Alice Wiseman, ADPH Vice Chair and DPH for Newcastle & Gateshead, attended the Health and Social Care Committee to give oral evidence on the Food and Weight Management Inquiry.

This invitation was after submitting written evidence. Helen discussed topics such sustainable investment for public health programmes, capacity in public health teams, food deserts, green spaces, transport, planning, hot food takeaways, complexity of food systems, outdoor advertising and free school meals.
