We joined partners from across GM to explore how Creative Health can transform lives and strengthen wellbeing in our communities. The room was full of energy, expertise, and genuine passion.

We hosted our bi-annual away day where we bring together senior public health colleagues for an opportunity to network, get updates on the GMPHN and gain some CPD.

Through the global Partnership for Healthy Cities, GM took part in a city exchange with Melbourne to share learning on food systems and tobacco control.

Helen Gollins, GMPHN Chair and DPH for Trafford, alongside Alice Wiseman, ADPH Vice Chair and DPH for Newcastle & Gateshead, attended the Health and Social Care Committee to give oral evidence on the Food and Weight Management Inquiry.

Greater Manchester co-designed the national Addressing the Three Biggest Killers framework with Action on Smoking and Health, the Obesity Health Alliance, and the Alcohol Health Alliance, in collaboration with Humber and North Yorkshire ICB.
